I’ve been to one World Series, 1974 in Oakland. We got walk-up tickets, and Dodgers lost three straight.

Loved that ‘74 team. Watched games on Mexican TV while attending university there.

Mopup is the perfect role for Treinen.

It may be too early to be reflective, but if things don’t go our way in games 6 and/or 7, I don’t think I’ll feel as shattered as I did against Boston and Houston. Most likely because 2020 and 2024 hadn’t happened yet I guess. Also I think overall for most of the year we have been a bit off the pace and just happened to get hot in the last month or so. At one point I was even resigned to us not even making the playoff, let alone winning the West.

What got hot the last month was the starters returning from injuries.

He might be, but those are wild pitches from pitchers squeezing the ball and overthrowing
