Probably should not have sent Klein out for a 2nd inning. Very frustrating.
Why was Ohtani going back to 1st? He must have thought the ball was caught in the air is all I can think of.
Wow that was just a pathetic way to end this series. This is on us. We had no offense to speak of and some sloppy plays. Oh well. Day off much needed.
Rats!! Unacceptable!!
Runs please.
Dodgers don’t seem to get the idea of productive outs.

Ugh!! No magic tonight. Extremely disappointing effort by the offense.
Wasted opportunities early.
😢 😢
Ah well. Maybe tomorrow.
Lopez begins and ends this game sloppy
Need the bottom half of the lineup to set the table and/or win it for the Dodgers here.
Rally Time!! Clap..Clap!!
Another vanishing act by our offense. Up to the bottom of the order to pull out another comeback win.
That big bouncer left the Dodgers high and Dreyer.
Left some work to be done Dodgers.
Last two hitters trying too hard. Patience, Grasshoppers!
Signs of life!
Ah well maybe tomorrow.
Let’s go Dodgers. Clap clap. Clap clap clap.
Got em right where we want em
Three of my favorites singling towards a win.
From Junk to Bender. They are cornering the market on great pitching names.
And we ain’t hitting any of them!
Sadly true.
Nice grab, Kyle!
Fish can hit.
I like the way they put the balls in play. Not just looking for the home runs.
I see where Donnie Baseball is now piloting the Fillies. He son, a Dodger draftee, is the GM.
Dodger draftee being markedly different than draft dodger.
Feels like the Dodgers are trying to be down by 2 going into the 9th again tonight. Relive the magic.
Finish strong here Ohtani.
Nice.
More on ABS: I wonder how much the percentages would go up if there was only 1 challenge per team. And how much they would go down if there were 3 challenges per team.
Because that is surely what would happen. With only 1, teams would want to be very sure not to waste it. And with 3, more risks would be taken.
Shohei keeps it close at least.
Marlins are jumping on Shohei this inning.
His grind is most others brilliance.
Ohtani’s era doubled with that run scoring.
I guess Ohtani is human after all.
Dodgers not doing much against all these Junk pitches.
True but the funny part is that his fastball is the pitch that is working best
Junk out pitching Shohei.
Random ABS question. Say it is a 3-2 pitch that is called strike 3. Runner on first, who has taken off makes it safely into 2nd. Meanwhile, the call is challenged and overturned to ball 4 and a walk. Does the stolen base still count or did the runner officially advance by the walk?
I also wonder about the reverse. 3-2 count. Runner takes off for second but jogs into the bag on a ball 4 call. Meanwhile, the catcher has both thrown down to second base and challenged the call. (I realize this is all hypothetical.) He throws the runner out as Ball 4 becomes Strike 3.
Case 1, I think the walk negates the SB. Case 2, I think the runner is out. In that case with the challenge system there are no assumptions.
Would have been my guesses as well but wasn’t sure. Sometimes it is fun when there are interesting new wrinkles to the game. Ghost runners not so much though.
Too scary?
Exactly! Lol
Kim shines.
Is anyone else watching on Spectrum? We are wondering what the two yellow dots are to the right of the team names…
Remaining challenges?
That’s brilliant! I bet you are right!
Now we need a challenge to verify brilliance or just CZ
Took me a minute but I got there – well played.
ABS challenges? Just a guess
Refresh before commenting Dave 🤦🏻♂️
That’s okay – you are brilliant, too, W Dave.
I’ll take that! Lol

Very helpful friends. Thanks!
Sloppy game. Ramirez is a ball magnet.
A lot going on.
I see you created your avatar.
9 pitches with bases loaded and 2 out is crazy.
So much action on so few pitches.
Kyle again please.
Well since we already know Shohei won’t have a no hitter, maybe he can get 20k tonight. Have another crazy special game bs the Marlins.
Should Smith move to 3rd?
Should Rushing move to 3rd?
Looks like we have been asking the wrong question.
Should Freddie be move to 3rd? Turns out that was the better question.

Tucker almost got excited
Wah-Hoo!!! Tucker comes thru.
Sweet!
WooHOO!!! KYLE!!!
Did they pull the pitcher because he was hurt?
Yep
On the bright side, Fryers blew a golden opportunity—thanks, Manny!—and remain in second. Also, as Rox defeat Cincy, G-nats are all alone in the NL West basement.
