I have ruminated on whether a hitter who stays alive because of an error like Muncy did after the third baseman dropped his pop-up in full ground should not get credit for a hit or walk should he do that with his gift at bats. It’s like getting a mulligan which only happens in friendly golf games with no Bets being made. Pro don’t get mulligans.
