These are the times that try Dodgers fans souls. Not much fun following the Boys in Blue lately. Still don’t understand why Betts hasn’t been moved back to right field. I can only conclude that he isn’t hitting because shortstop is a much more difficult position. Can’t figure out Freeman’s lack of power. Friedman needs to get busy and not wait until the July 31 trading deadline when the cost of the trades will go up . . . I hope that all of you are well.

Kline was struggling with his release point and I think the odds of him finding it had to be better than the odds of a rookie pitcher’s first MLB game doing better with the bases loaded.
Good thing for Freddie the throw towards him wasn’t accurate. 101 mph from 45 feet.

I worry more about Edman than Conforto. Or another way to say that – I think it is more realistic or expected to have Edman going again than Conforto. But it still needs to happen and I’m worried that it isn’t.
Last July was a tough month for the Dodgers as well.
Any thoughts on whether they would have sent Shohei out for a 4th inning tonight if he had been a bit more efficient with his pitches?

I loved summer camp when I was a kid.
Thanks OD. Yeah I did have a good time – as did the kids. It’s a ton of work but it is also very rewarding.
It coulda been worse. RBI gifted me tickets and parking for Friday night’s game, and the only memorable moment was my Cey bobblehead (I knew Ron in high school).
