Wondering how they stretch out Ohtani to pitch since they ain’t sending him down to the farm. Obvious way might be to have him as the opener for regularly scheduled pen games and keep him out there a little bit more each time. Would there be an issue with the DH thing on those days?

While I’ve always liked Max, I believe Dodgers have a club option on him next season. I suspect they’ll decline it.

Dodgers have a $10 million option on him for 2026. He’s currently on a two-year, $24 million contract.
