During a meeting in early spring, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts quizzed Dreyer, asking the offseason addition to the 40-man roster to reveal a special skill. When Dreyer revealed that he’d known how to solve the cube since high school, Roberts summoned Tommy Edman in a competition to see who’d solve it faster. The 26-year-old Dreyer won easily, completing it within 20 seconds.
