Hi gang. I guess we were due a game like this, but poor Yams can’t get any run support. Meanwhile, I will be more sporadic here for a while, as I just got a job in India for a few months. I’ll be following the team, of course, but at a 12 1/2 hour time difference so very tricky to post.

Well as it stands right now only one starting pitcher has a chance to get the win. The one who is losing 2-0.

2-0 now with Padres treating to get more. And I forgot about the Dodgers not scoring runs when Yams is pitching. This one might not end up in the W column for the Dodgers.

Yams just missed getting an immaculate inning. 8 strikes in a row to 3 batters – and then a very much missed d call that would have been strike 3

Maybe the second worst call now that I remember the perfect game that was lost when a runner was called safe but clearly wasn’t with two outs in the bottom of the ninth.
