Dodgers gave it a try
Tee a ball up and Max can and will hit it
Last shot.
SSS, but Trivino’s been a bright spot.
Forkball vs splitter grip
Can’t get the images to post so here is the difference:

Gracias
Knack with the QS
Better than I expected. Defense let him down.
By basic numbers, Knack’s performance not too bad. Though defense has let him down, he’s thrown many fewer pitches than Senga.
In play, runs…please
Wondering how they stretch out Ohtani to pitch since they ain’t sending him down to the farm. Obvious way might be to have him as the opener for regularly scheduled pen games and keep him out there a little bit more each time. Would there be an issue with the DH thing on those days?
I’ve always considered Muncy a decent 3B, but it seems he’s in a clear defensive slump.
Max gets written off every year around here. Someday it will be borne out.
While I’ve always liked Max, I believe Dodgers have a club option on him next season. I suspect they’ll decline it.
So you think this is the year?
Over the next 80 games or so, I would gladly take Max’s last year’s stats and production of 3.0 BR WAR.
You are a generous fellow.
He actually provided that 3.0 in only 73 games. Was a tremendous season when he was on the field.
Knick Knack got paddy whacked
Thanks Max
Geez. We definitely need a better 3B.
Jeez, that turned around quickly
Third base for both teams giving up outs. Mets capitalizing though.
Rats!! Should have got more.
It’s blackout Sunday again – thanks, ESPN!
Gameday is calling his pitch a forkball. Isn’t that the old-fashioned name for a splitter?
Elroy Face– the guy I associate with the fork ball
And, yeah, I think so.
I would think so.
Dang
Pour it on!
Play ball.
That’s the way to play ball!
