BioKix Dairy Lagoon Waste Treatment Bacillus — A powerful, nonpathogenic spore blend that incorporates six unique strains from three species of Bacillus.
About BioKix:
BioKix enhances BOD/COD removal, reduces solids and gases, reduces sludge bulking, increases pit capacity, and keeps waste flowable and liquefied.
BioKix selected a potent, nonpathogenic, six-strain Bacillus spore blend. This blend was chosen based on its unique ability to work together to degrade difficult waste, ensuring maximum effectiveness of our product.
The BioKix product is facultative (can live with or without oxygen) and is in spore form. This form ensures an extended shelf life, allowing you to store our product for longer periods without compromising its effectiveness.
BioKix is designed to be incredibly user-friendly. Simply toss pre-measured pouches into water containing waste, and let the product do the rest. It’s that easy.
At bioKix, we take quality and safety seriously. Our product manufacturing is third-party certified for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), meeting customer needs for GMP and FSMA requirements. This certification is a testament to our unwavering commitment to bringing you safe, quality products.
The scope of the certification covers all products, including Bacillus fermentation and processing, and provides assurance that all products are manufactured in appropriate conditions to support the highest standard of safety.
Since its inception in the 1960s, the HACCP system has become the global standard. HACCP is a logical, science-based, highly effective system of product safety control that relies on prevention. It builds a systematic approach to product safety from raw material to product end use.
HACCP provides a written plan for product safety using Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Sanitation, Non-conformances, Corrective Actions, Recall, Customer Complaints, and Raw Material and Supplier Approval. The certification also ensures that procedures meet the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) requirements for Hazard Analysis and Risk-Based Preventive Controls for feed.
Having auditors from an outside company review manufacturing procedures provides additional assurance that BioKix products are safe for their intended use. Third-party Certification is voluntary, so competitors may choose not to be certified even if they qualify.
At BioKix, we’re always looking to the future. As we expand, our first step is to ensure that our products meet GMP and FSMA requirements, as well as HACCP Certification. This commitment to industry standards is a testament to our dedication to quality and safety.
Fred Nichols, Owner/Manager of BioKix LLC, has always believed that quality and safety come before meeting demand.
